25 months in prison for unlawfully returning to the U.S. after being deported

ICE press release announcing that a man from the Dominican Republic was sentenced to 25 months in prison for unlawfully returning to the U.S. after being deported. The man will be subject to removal proceedings after he completes his current sentence.

Redesigned the Consular Report of Birth Abroad

The Department of State (DOS) redesigned the Consular Report of Birth Abroad, which became effective 1/3/11. Changes include centralizing production to U.S. passport centers within the U.S., rather than abroad and using the gender neutral “parent,” rather than “mother” or “father” on the form.
