ICE announced the arrest of a third individual indicted for conspiracy to commit human trafficking offenses involving Haitian nationals. The indictment includes charges that the defendants engaged in visa fraud by making false statements in documents filed for H-2A visas.

As of 7/23/10, USCIS receipted 30,640 H-2B petitions, including approved and pending, toward the 47,000 beneficiaries target for the 2nd half of FY 2010. Beneficiaries target is the estimated number of petitions needed to reach the cap and is higher than the actual cap.
