DOS final rule on the issuance of L visas with validity periods based on the visa reciprocity schedule, whereas the current rule limits L visas to the petition validity period.

Visa Policy Update on blanket L Visas

Department of State (DOS) issued a visa policy update on an FAM change to clarify that posts may annotate blanket L visas with the name of the actual employer on the I-129-S even if that subsidiary or affiliate employer name is not in PIMS.
