Payment Options at USCIS Domestic Offices

Effective 10/1/10, USCIS domestic offices and U.S. territories will no longer accept cash payment. As an alternative to cash, customers may pay using checks (including personal checks), money orders, and credit cards.

As of 7/23/10, USCIS receipted 30,640 H-2B petitions, including approved and pending, toward the 47,000 beneficiaries target for the 2nd half of FY 2010. Beneficiaries target is the estimated number of petitions needed to reach the cap and is higher than the actual cap.

USCIS updated its count of FY2011 cap-subject H-1B petitions and advanced degree cap-exempt petitions receipted. As of 9/10/10, approximately 37,400 H-1B cap-subject petitions were receipted. USCIS has receipted 13,700 H-1B petitions for aliens with advanced degrees.
