http://ow.ly/wDa6S The Social Security Administration (SSA) provides answers to questions submitted by the AILA SSA/DMV Taskforce in March 2014. SSA announced that as a result of I-94 automation, there is no longer a 10-day waiting period between the time a nonimmigrant enters the U.S. and the time he or she can apply for an SSN.
